UT Austin Onsite Essay

I heard that interviewers at UT Austin no longer have to write an onsite essay. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

I believe you are correct, Mike. I had my interview on Feb. 17 and did not have to write an essay.

Mike,
I am a current student at UT COP and we are not having you write the onsite essay. However, it is my understanding that the PCAT essay will be used as part of the admissions process this year in place of the onsite essay.
