Anybody heard some news from UT-Austin, clinical area?

not at all. you would think some kind of update would be in place, maybe just a quick email.

thanks for your reply, I just heard from the dept that the clinical area is still reviewing the applications.

well, i got a rejection letter. guess that counts as hearing from them!

Does anybody know whether UT has already issued their offers, the status online is always the same, I even don't know whether I'm waitlisted or not. 😕

I don't know if this helps or not but I have a friend who just got accepted to Evolutionary psych there 2 days ago, and it was their first round of offers. I am guessing clinical made their offers as well by now, but most people might hold onto these acceptances until the deadline since it was such short notice, and alternates might not be contacted til the last minute.

Have you tried calling the secretary to find out? Usually someone who answers the phones at the schools seems to know generally what is going on with offers.

Thanks for your information. I called the dept a few days ago, they told me they were still reviewing the applications, and the result would come out soon. Actually it was the same answer as when I called them half a month ago 😡

Do you know if they interview? I was under the impression that they did, that each professor sets things up individually. It just seems weird that you haven't heard anything at all by now. Good luck.

yes, it's too weird. I want to know whether anybody is the same status as me now, or they may have lost my application somewhere they cannot remember.
