Could anyone enlighten me with their impression of the UT Houston Peds program? PLEASE.

From what I saw:
- Plenty of fellowships except Rheum
-1/2 go to fellowships, 1/2 remain primary care - unlike Baylor which has a stronger lean to fellowships.
- NICU PICU HEME/ONC (*MD Anderson) are the three strongest departments/fellowships
- Excellent outpatient/community experience at LBJ.
- q4 30 hr call: PGY 1/ 7 mo, PGY2/5 mo, PGY 3/3 mo.
- Chief's seemed pleasant and easy to work with as did general housestaff.
