So I' basically have to choose to interview at one or the other due to scheduling (unless one of you can switch on the switch thread). And I can't find much info on UT- Houston. Anybody know what their surgical numbers are like? I've looked at the sdn UT houston thread and they said houston was "in trouble" but that was 2011. I've also read that they are very loyal to their own med students when choosing residents.

I don't mind living in either location, just trying to see if anybody has a good feel for the program and if I would have a better chance at interviewing at mizzou

I think UT-Houston has vastly better surgical #'s. But that's just from the rumor mill (not first hand knowledge).
