Uterine Rupture:
-according to UWorld, you do emergency C section
-according to MTB, you do immediate laparotomy ["A Cesarean delivery is not done because the baby may not be in the uterus"]

On a test question, if both are offered what would you pick? I imagine they will only say C section or lap and not both though?

You're not going to be doing a LTCS on a uterine rupture. You'll be doin a traditional opening, which is almost identicaly to a laparotomy.

Most emergency C-sections aren't LTCS anyways.
