If remember correctly, they said it is used to determine whether or not you receive an interview. For example, by factoring in your DAT, oGPA, sGPA you get a value of 700. You need a minimum of 600 for a interview. By that logic, you will eventually get an interview offer. That's how I remember it working. I might be wrong though!
