UTKs Accreditation

I read on UTK's website that the vet school had been granted temporary accreditation, and that they were going to have to do some updates in order to be fully accredited next time. Does anyone that is going there know of what they are doing to make improvements? I am a sophomore animal science student at MTSU, and am planning on applying there in the next couple of years. So just wondering.

If you look through the UTK c/o 2015 thread, there's a bigger discussion on the issue.

The long story short is that parts of the facility need to be updated, namely the Large Animal Hospital. The building project has been underway for over a year now, and will continue over the next several years. We have limited accreditation until the building project is complete, but currently neither the university administration nor the accreditation committee feel that we are in any danger of losing accreditation completely. Also, the project is fully, or almost fully, funded through the life of the project already, so it should be completed.

Thanks for the reply. I am planning on applying there in a couple of years and to UGA as well. I would say I have a better shot at getting in at UT though since it is my in state school.
