Don't know much about the others but I really liked the Comer Children's Hospital and the residents there. I did not get the best vibe from the PD. Nobody else I know seemed to feel that way and the residents all admire her. I just got the impression that I should never ever make her angry or would suffer the consequences.

But she has done some amazing things for the program. I'm probably just paranoid.

As a previous medical student at U of C i can vouch that the PD at U of C is amazing and definitely a draw for the program. good luck!

I know what you mean about the PD, too. I got the same vibe from her, and I've met other applicants that feel the same way (some of them are not ranking Comer very high because of her). But, the residents and medical students think she's amazing. But yes, I would try not to make her angry (ever) if I went there. 🙂 The program is great.
