Felt these programs were very similar. Other than Atlanta vs. Dallas, does anyone know if the day-to-day life of a resident is vastly different between these places or if one group is happier than the other?

We actually have SDN members from both of those programs. If they don't feel comfortable speaking out in public, they might PM you. Blade28 for Emory and Balaguru for UTSW.

Of course, Blade28 is semi-retired from SDN, but maybe someone else will chime in with some info.
