How prevalent is UV spec on the MCAT? TBR has quite a few questions on UV spectroscopy, but my orgo professor didn't cover it in our course.

I think it tends to show up in answer choices more than anything else and main thing you need to know is that it tends to detect highly conjugated double bonds. TBR orgo was quite detailed about this, and I believe it is more background than anything else.
