Mostly PR/marketing piece, but there is an article about UVa's new PBPM program at http://www.virginia.edu/insideuva/pre-med_program.html. It does have statistics on the first year's class (just started).

are you considering UVA for next year? I'll be applying to the program so it would be nice to find someone that's considering the same schools i am for next year.

That's the plan! And some others (at least Bryn Mawr)...maybe a year earlier than I can afford, but will definitely apply. Lots of reasons I'm interested in UVa, not the least of which is that I'm local. So if you've any questions about Charlottesville, let me know.
