It's coming down to the wire and I can't for the life of me decide how to rank these three, I have no preference for region or weather, so any input would be great, thanks!

I interviewed at all of the above places and think they are all great programs with residents that seemed pretty happy. Besides the obvious stuff (climate is probably better at UVA, however the cost-of-living there is the highest), there were a couple of things that stood out:
1) Michigan had (what I felt was) a pretty cool PGY-1 year built in, with great didactics and a really solid transition to anesthesia in the CA-1 year.
2) Madison seemed to really be able to provide a "tailor-made" training experience since it is a smaller program - I had many residents talk about being able to advance to harder cases at their own pace.
Besides that, I really did like all of these programs quite a bit, and would definitely rank them higher if I wasn't trying to move out west a bit.
