UVA's waitlist

Does anybody know how well UVA's waitlist moves? The letter said that from 60-80 people they take 10-12. Is there anyone out there who knows if that's about right? Thanks!

That's pretty much how it goes. They have a lot on the waitlist and then there is attrition down to 60-80 that are still interested and they take about 10-12 off of the list. When I was there I didn't meet anyone who said they gott in off of the waitlist. I would say that UVa is one of the schools with the least amount of waitlist movement. They overbook their class and it seems like not many people turn down UVa because it's such a great school. In the best case scenario on 12/60 will get in off of the waitlist, that's only a 20% chance at the most. Good luck!!!😀
