For those who have recieved an interview invite from UW: how long after sending in your secondary did you hear you had an interview?

I still haven't received a secondary, but since I'm not from washington and I don't live in a WICHE state... I pretty much consider my application rejected there. Oh well

When I was at UW in November they told me that they interview through March. So, they are in no hurry to fill all the spots.

I overnighted my secondary and check back in September and finally received the interview invite in the mail today. I was about to give up hope. Hopefully this will give some encouragement to those who are still waiting.

I know some people in my class were called during the summer for acceptance, so keep your heads up. Let me know when your interviews are so I can stop by and say hi when you are here! Good luck everyone!

UW does not work through email; they do however update through AADSAS, although mine is not updated yet.

I called them. And I have my interview scheduled although I have yet to receive the secondary in the mail. Things are kind of messed up this year with so many more people applying.

if you don't mind me asking, what are your stats, jdude?

I sent my secondary out on a tuesday (mid Nov) and received info about an interview the following Monday (less than a week). I also know people with my same #'s who are still waiting. I think they take into account a lot other than numbers.

My stats:
DAT AA: 18, PAT: 22
GPA: 3.67

Kathleen Craig called today and I am schedualed for Jan 30th!!!! I am so freekin excited I thought my interview wouldn't be till March at this point.

I know this is off the topic, but for those of you that have interviewed, have you heard anything??? I heard from all the other schools I interviewed at within the first week and was really hoping I'd hear from UW at the same time. Do you know how often they make their decisions and send out acceptances?? Any feedback would be great. Good luck to all your UW applicants! I've got accepted to 6 schools and I'm still waiting to hear from UW because it's my number 1!
