I finish each block of UW with roughly 30 minutes to spare, is this normal? or going too fast? Could be because im doing it system based the first time around.

Very rarely I finished a block with 30 minutes leftover to review marked questions. Very rarely meaning <5-10 blocks total.

if i did it mixed itd definitely take me longer, bc im doing it system based, i can pick out the answer and what theyre asking much quicker

I think when I was doing my UWorld in systems it was much faster, especially if I was being super selective with the topics (e.g. doing a whole block of just physiology, or just pathology). When you do the questions in a random mode you will be getting some stuff that you may not have seen in a few days or more and it might take a little thinking to bring that info to the surface of your conscious thinking. n = 1 of course, but I usually finish UWorld with 10-20 minutes to spare and then go through flagged questions leisurely (random and unused only). When I do NBMEs I am usually using almost every minute available though :S

i havent done a block that specific yet, just done it the entire system so you do get some non-system questions here and there, but just wondering if maybe i should slow down a bit, a lot of times by just looking at the answers in half a second you can almost sniff what theyre asking
