Anyone have any interview feedback from UW yet?
Not sure exactly when they start/ started...

I received a secondary app on 9-9. I mailed it back on 9-22. Haven't heard back yet

I sent my secondary in around Aug 27th and got and interview invite on Sept 14th.

According to SDN and predents there are only a few (5ish) other invites so far.

I had my interview yesterday. I submitted my application Aug 13th.
The interview was very relaxed, we were 8 people for the interview.
I had mine with Dr. Nelson and Dr.Bordin, they were really nice.😀
the questions were mostly about what I did, my research and my community service. one question that I had not thought about it was "what was your biggest obstacle in your life?"

You are so lucky 🙂 I'm still waiting for DAT scores to get to UW 🙁 I hope to get an interview by November....

In our class, there were more people from January interview dates than any other month. UW takes their time to make decisions, so if you don't have a pre Dec 1st interview, it's ok.

Cool. Thank you. I fee better now. Do you know how long it takes for UW to receive official DAT scores? I took mine 9/12. It showed up on AADSAS yesterday. Should I expect around next week or so?

They typically say 6-8 weeks. However, I believe that now DAT scores and posted online and are available to the schools that you pay for, so now that may not be so.

UW takes their sweet time. Kathy works her tail off and UW doesn't have a huge admissions/student life staff that can fly through applications like other schools. Just be patient with UW...

If you are worried about whether or not your scores are in, you could give Kathy a call or send her an email. However, I'd just wait a week or 2 longer because she's super busy. Just be patient 🙂

So my AADSAS was updated to "Invited to Interview" for the UW on Friday the 8th... How will they follow up? Snail mail, email or phone call? Or do I need to call them? Thanks!

Email. If it doesn't come in a day or so, I would call and leave a message. And check your junk mail! Apparently some people have been losing invites in the autogarbage 🙁

So I was all bummed out because I got a rejection from my state school (UW) on October 8th.. WITHOUT getting a secondary application...so I decided screw that place and on to the next! A whole month goes by and I get a phone call this morning stating they were doing quality control over applications and say that my application had ended up in the OOS pile when being evaluated. Then went on to say that I should not have been rejected, especially without a secondary, then extended me a secondary application and a rebirth of my dreams! If you know any in staters who were rejected without a secondary have them call the school up ASAP!

Any one have any ideas how UW does post Dec interviews and the likely hood of their acceptance??

I'd say ~1/2 our class is post-dec interview...

I still have not sent in the secondaries..

Only e-mail that I received was the one that said that they will do initial screening for my application and contact me if needed.

That doesn't mean I should write secondaries, right? If they want me to, they will e-mail me or contact me telling me to write secondaries, right?

How do I access secondaries anyways?

EdwardKim- they send out secondaries via email selectively, unless your in-state from what I know?

That is the one. The admissions crew is not huge and really busy so you have to leave a message and they'll call back in a couple days usually and talk to you.
