For those of you that were accepted to the University of Washington, does your AADSAS status say that you've says "yes" to the acceptance offer? It's strange, because mine does, and I haven't even officially responded yet...

This has nothing to do with your question. But I'm interested UW program. Are you in in-state student? I'm from California. I'm wondering if I should have any hope.🙄

haha
maybe they really want you to accept the offer.
which schools are you debating between?
i'm still waiting for my acceptance:luck:

I was paranoid they didn't get my acceptance form. Then I saw AADSAS updated to 'Applicant responded "yes" to admissions offer', so I thought they got it. Maybe not?

Jofosho315, are you planning on attending?

As for out of state residents, it is difficult to get in. They are extremely selective with too few spots. You should call the admissions office and let them know you are very interested.

If I was single, I'd definitely end up going to UW. But as it is, I've got a girlfriend right now who's applying to medical schools at the same time, and we're aiming to get into the same school. So we'll see!

I know that a very select few were notified of acceptance on Nov. 30, but I was wondering if anyone knows when the rest of us will either be rejected or accepted? I'm just wondering as I plan to put my deposits down at other schools shortly... Thanks!

I'm wondering the same thing golfgirl. But as I am in-state, I figure I might as well spend the $1k and secure my spot somewhere else just in case UW takes their sweet time...

The best thing would be to email the school. They may be a bit slow, but they'll be more than willing to know where you stand. However, I would also say UW is a school where they would like to look at majority of the applicant pool, and choose the cream of the crop. Therefore, out of state alone doesn't decrease your chances. Yet the selection process takes quite a bit of time, especially since all you guys are such a great applicants.
Either way, you've all worked very hard to get to this point, so congratulations for those who've gotten in to schools, and enjoy your fortunate predicament. 🙂

Mine says "yes offer accepted" too. But I don't think it means you've actually accepted, I think it's more like "you've been accepted." But it doesn't mean that you are obliged to go there.

Also, the good thing is, they most likely wont reject you until pretty late if you've had an interview. So don't give up hope! And it is rolling admissions. So I know for a fact that they don't fill that many spots right away, and they actually make most of their decisions in January. I know someone who had an interview last year in November that didn't find out until March. So don't give up hope!!

They don't pick based on modesty, eh hotrod?
