Hi there everyone!

I was just logging in to UW and noticed that it specified my account was "(Windows)"... I hadn't noticed that before and I remember hearing here that UW had promised to add support for Macs very soon. So I tried logging in using my Mac Firefox (rather than using my User Agent Switcher to log in as 'IE with Windows XP') and it didn't work. sigh...

anyone else have any news on this? I mean, I can use UW with my User Agent Switcher in Firefox but the problem is that I can't specify the # of questions when I do that, it always has to be 46. Kind of a pain.

I emailed UsmleWorld about the new Mac support and here is their reply:

We have recently launched the Mac supported software for Mac users and is
only available for new subscribers as it is completely different from
windows database and cannot be made available for existing customers due
to the test information they have already. Now we offer Windows and Mac
specific version for users of their preference. We can move your account
to Mac compatible system for the remaining period of your subscription,
however the test information cannot be moved; in other words you will have
to start all over again. If this is acceptable to you, please let us know
and we will make appropriate changes to your account. FYI: The Mac version
does work on any Windows computer which meets system requirements, in case
if you would like to use Windows once in a while.

Thank you

You could try using OmniWeb on the Mac. It has been working for me.
