Yeah, and I received the full supplemental the next day. I'd say recycle AMCAS essays WHENEVER possible, especially if you're applying to >10 schools.
Really you got it the next day? wow...I had to wait weeks to receive the supplemental - when did you submit the prelim?
Hey dudes, How's UW going? I just got a rejection letter today, which I thought was odd because my application wasn't even complete yet. They were still waiting on a LOR... The letter said "Unfortunately, we have few slots available in our program this year, and regret that we will not be able to offer you a position". Do you think that's what their rejection says every year?
Sorry to hear that - that sucks... Are you talking about the UDub preliminary or the supplemental? Did you complete the preliminary and then the supplemental and then get rejected so soon because that is weird...oh well, you have good stats so expect some awesome interviews soon!

Yeah, I finished the preliminary and the supplemental and was rejected before my LORs came in... I'm real bummed because I'm from Seattle and I kind of wanted to go home. Thanks for the encouragement, by the way, my new first choice is OHSU in Portland, after that the NW is completely depleted.
there is never a dumb question in this process! that is for sure.
Because I didn't realize it was fair game, I submitted the prelim fairly recently (within the last two weeks).
