Hey guys, I'm a long time viewer, but first time poster on the forums.

I have my exam in 13 days and I was wondering if you guys think doing UWorld twice and Goljan Audio twice is a good move for these last two weeks?

Here are my stats so far:

GPA:4.0
NBME 3: 219 (1 month ago)
NBME 4: 81% (offline 2 weeks ago)
NBME 5: 240 (1 week ago)
NBME 2: 252 (5 days ago - can't trust it; seemed waaay too easy)
UWorld: 68% (100% complete)
EDIT: UWSA1: 250 (went back and changed 5 right answers to wrong. loss confidence in myself after first block)

Goal: >250/99

I was planning on going over FA as many times as possible while supplementing it with HY Neuro, HY Mol. Bio, Kaplan Immuno, RR Path and Biochem, and Physio BRS for the final two weeks. As well as doing all of UWorld and Goljan Audio again, UWSA1+2, NBME6, and Free 150.

Has anyone found doing Goljan Audio and Uworld twice to be helpful? Any other suggestions for these last few weeks would be really great as well. I'm just getting to that point where I'm freaking out and questioning if I'm doing the right things to prepare haha.

Thanks in advance! 😀

I think you're biting off more than you can probably chew if you only have (now) 11 days until your test. FA more than once, supplemental sources, all of goljan again, all of UW again, plus 3 practice tests? There aren't enough hours in a day, unless you're skimming information instead of really pounding it, which isn't what you should be doing. I didnt even get through all of that in 6 weeks.

What have you done for studying so far? Have you looked at those supplemental sources yet? Annotated anything into FA?

I recommend getting more selective and more focused with your information the closer you get to the test. Make sure you continue to do a lot of questions (try to get through all of your incorrects in UW at least once more, and then new practice tests are great), but I'd recommend keeping your sources outside of the qbank to just FA and goljan at this point.

Thanks for responding ZagDoc!

Unfortunately my FA isn't annotated much, but I have read all of those other sources 2-3 times. I was just going to use them sparingly to supplement FA as needed. I've gotten through about 700 of my previously completed UW Qs (about 150 a day) so I think i should be able to finish that, but I just wasn't sure if it was a great use of time. How many things have you seen on the exam that you recognized from UWorld?

I guess i'll stick to making sure I know First Aid cold and as much Goljan as possible.

Do you think listening to Goljan again (1.5x speed) is worth it? Or is my time best spent elsewhere?

Took UWSA2 today, got a 253. I'm really hoping that this is accurate and not overestimating.

Should I take the time out to do NBME6 this week or is my time better spent studying for those 4 hours?

Also, how does NBME6 compare to UWSA2? Easier, harder, about the same?

NBME 6 is a bit skewed. It is newer and a certain type A-type crowd takes it so it will take a few more months for it to be a more fair assessment if you-vs-them.

The biggest enemy on your test-day is fatigue and lack of focus/stamina. I would suggest taking NBME 6 and then using that to fine tune a select number of topics that you need to strengthen.

Thanks for the insight man.

I took the Free 150 just now, 88% 🙁 .

I'm am really really hoping that it skews closer to the medfriends score (255) than wikitestprep (245). I would be happy if it fell right in between actually.

That is just an estimate and doesn't reflect as much as it once did.

Just remember that your 250 will come in the last two blocks. If you can keeo your focus till the end, then you'll kill it.
