So I've asked this in another thread and have talked to some of my school's M3s about it, but I'm curious as to what everyone else thinks.

For anyone who has taken Step 1 recently and happens to see this, did you find it to be harder, easier, or more or less the same difficulty as UWorld?

I just took Step 1 today (no joke). Overall UWORLD prepares you well. I thought some of the more difficult questions were on the same level as UWORLD, just that they weren't representative of EVERY question. Hope this helps.

Uworld is on par with Step 1. Some questions are very easy, some are very elusive and require thinking. Accurate prediction of your performance on the actual test. You must also factor in anxiety and fear on test day.

agreed. The one caveat is that questions on uworld are designed to teach concept, the questions on step 1 are designed to test whether you know the concept in question, this makes certain questions easier, but certain ones harder.

Thanks for the replies, all.

Unrelated, but what did you think of the CBSE in retrospect after you took Step? I know it's derived from former Step questions and all that like our shelf exams are, but I somehow expected it to be... different.

Lets start with the basics. What does CBSE stand for? TIA
