uworld question on renal artery stenosis and fibromuscular dysplasia

So the uworld explanation is saying that renal artery stenosis is more common in the left renal artery but fibromuscular dysplasia is more common in the right artery....why is that?

Perhaps b/c the left renal art is higher on the aorta then the right so it could be subject to more stress and higher flow velocity thus making the artery stenosis more likely on that the left since it's an adaption mechanism...
