UWorld self assessment vs. NBME forms

Hi 🙂

I'm scheduled to take CK on 7/2, so I'm about 2 weeks out from the exam. I took an NBME form 4 a few days ago and I got a 186 (380). Since then I've done some reviewing and I would like to reassess where I stand either using UWorld or another NBME.

Which assessment will help me both gain some confidence and gain appropriate and accurate feedback? I am planning to take the assessment on Monday (6/21), so that I have time to decide if I need to push the boards back.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I would take an NBME. I hope your progression goes well after a week of studying. I am saving my UWSA for the end maybe 1 to 2 days before

I would say do another NBME practice exam, i thought it was quite representative of your performance on the actual test.

So, just to confirm, UW Assessments underpredict by 15?

Is there any point to buying the USMLE WOrld self-assessments (rather than buying an NBME) other than the fact that the UW ones are cheaper than NBME when you get them packaged with the Qbank? Are the NBME ones more predictive/representative of the actual CK exam in terms of content and score prediction?

wow pretty ambitious for a pre-med
