Hello everyone. I am coming to seek some advice for a discussion/presentation that I am giving to some sophomore level pre-med students. I personally have already taken the MCAT, so this advice is not helpful for myself.

Has anyone used and or had success with the UWorld MCAT question bank? I made a free account the other night to check it out, and it did not seem very representative of the MCAT in my opinion. It almost seemed like it was TBR on steroids (which is great I guess, but some kids can have confidence issues) and was way harder than the real thing... Obviously the AAMC is going to be the gold standard, but if someone else thinks better of the UWorld Qbank then I will recommend it.

Thanks!

I thought it was alright....definitely not as representative as AAMC material but better than my Kaplan Q-bank. Explanation quality was on point too.

So, in short, good for content review but not as a good indicator of exam questions.

I thought so as well, just wanted to make sure it has not changed! Thanks for your input 🙂

Love the avatar by the way. Those things are adorable!!

Yep! Had I known better, I wouldn't have taken the Kaplan course lol. Best combo is probably Kaplan 7 books, UWorld MCAT Q-bank, and NextStep/EK practice exams. But then I haven't taken the real mcat yet so best take my opinion with grain of salt.
