So as i go through Uworld, im actively annotating the explanations into my FA, but after i move to the next system I dont review my annotations. Is this wrong? as in after i finish the entire system of questions, should i be reading the system again in FA with my annotations before moving to the next system? or read them when i get to the system later on?

If you have time to make a 2nd pass through FA then I would hold off on reviewing annotations until you get through all systems and make the 2nd pass.... that's what I am going to do... if I have time. Only 4 more weeks until my exam so I'm feeling like I have less time than I envisioned :scared:

I try to read the notes before bed on whatever I wrote down that day from Uworld in FA. Usually spend around 45 mins.

lol dude...all of your posts ask Qs that have no right or wrong answer. It's entirely individualized, so you have to do what works for you. If you can't remember anything you wrote, then it might help to review it again before moving ahead. If you can, then wait.

lmao, this post in particular wasnt asking for an answer. Just trying to see what most people do, get some feedback, and then make my own kind of study schedule

haha alright just giving you a hard time. Personally, I haven't put my UW annotations into FA because a lot of times it's hard to find a "right spot" for the annotation that would make sense as far as the integration of multiple topics, especially for one that are covered in multiple sections of FA. I'm keeping a Pages doc with a table for my annotations with columns for QID, primary/secondary topics and the main takeaway points or why I missed the Q. Then my last week or so, I'll be able to sort the annotations & go over them by topic while getting another quick pass of FA.

i see. what ill do is take an nbme after my first pass with annotating UW but without actually "reading" them, see what i get, then go over FA again and see how i do with my annotations. Hopefully i see a score increase

what about going over the actual block after you finish the block? do you go over the questions just after you finish, or sometimes wait till the next day. bc what im trying to see if, if you dont review it at tha tmoment, you kind of forget why you picked this answer for this reason etc.

I rarely review it right then. I'm like 15 blocks behind right now reviewing. Not on purpose, it just kind of happened.

lmao, i see. Im 2 blocks behind right now, but i try not to get too behind bc like i said, i feel like i forget what happened, thought process etc etc

Not immediately, but if I don't get them done the same day I'll end up never reviewing. Reviewing UW = worst thing ever.

Before going over a block, I make sure to review 1 block's notes that I wrote down a few days prior. I'm about 10 block's beyond in my review, but it's about perfect as a reminder a few days later. (All my notes are in a notebook and dated) I'd say you should at least skim your notes within a couple weeks of writing them just to solidify them.

I'm just starting to review my uworld notes. I personally learn by writing stuff down, whether I read it again or not. I know this from my mcat days. So if that is they way you learn as well then no it is not a waste, even if you don't review it all. But don't just annotate because someone said to do so on Sdn.
