Question...I just heard that a coworker of mine is interviewing at VMRCVM today for a spot in the fall class? I thought all that was done?

I don't know. It is not somebody I am close with and I didn't even know she had applied! A mutual friend told me. I thought it was odd, too. Even waitlisted folks are interviewed at the regular rounds, no?

Should be, yea. Would it be totally inappropriate to call VMRCVM admissions office? Perhaps, but Joyce is so nice it doesn't seem that off putting...

It seems like several schools have gone pretty far down their waitlist....Maybe they went through all the alternates already?
that's interesting. we just received the stats of the incoming class as well as everyones contact info so I thought the class was filled. maybe someone backed out or maybe it was the 'how to improve your application' interview/ discussion.

Hm. The person who told me definitely said it was for her to go to vet school in a couple of months. I'll follow up today - I'm glad I am not the only one who thought this was odd.

I talked to the interviewee yesterday. She was not accepted nor waitlisted but interviewed and expects to hear tomorrow. Her thought was that they went through the waitlist already. I emailed Joyce two days ago to inquire but she hasn't gotten back to me.

I don't believe it either. I know someone on the IS wait list who hasn't heard a thing. It also doesn't sound like VMRCVM to me - they are very strict and traditional in how they run things...holding interviews now is very out of the norm as far as I know
