There's a PGY-2 opening right now on the website. But it requires Steps 1 2 AND 3!!! Is this typical of the vacancies on the sfmatch website?

They're asking for a lot more than is required for the regular applicant through the regular match!

They probably want all those things because it's for a position that they want to fill as soon as possible. They probably wouldn't be so strict if it was a PGY2 position starting 07/2007.

weird, I would've thought they would be less strict if they wanted that spot filled so badly
