going to be a msII and was wondering why so many cross over and use kaplan set to study for boards?
i used mostly brs series, made simple series, lange micro/immuno and pharm;
what's the benefit of using these only in refrence? why use kaplan as primary text instead when you're not as famliar? is kaplan ultra-high yield or are above texts not sufficient? been wondering what to annotate (in addition to FA).

I don't like Kaplan's books with the exception of QBook. They are long-winded and (you're absolutely correct): they are not familiar to you. The best advice anyone can be given is to use a review source (HY, BRS) for courses during the first year. I wish I had done that for Biochem and not stressed over those stupid freakin' lectures.
