Value of your University's Grading System?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Nope, there are plenty of great colleges using both.

All it really means for you is that you must make sure to stay on top of your borderline classes. Three times as much to be gained/lost at the thresholds.

The bright side is that you only need a 90+ usually for an A, rather than a 93+ on the plus/minus system.

I always hear people say this, but then you need to remember that on the flip side an 89% is a solid B.

Yes but an 89 in +/- would be a 3.3, which is hardly a significant improvement. It is more difficult to maintain a 4.0 on a +/- than the standard.
