I know this is a highly coveted fellowship position. Idk why I’m having difficulty finding specific information through their website. What surgeries do fellows do? Numbers? Can someone explain the pros and cons of this fellowship? Opportunities after?

Probably the #1 or #2 cornea/refractive/migs fellowship in terms of surgical volume. It outright beats any academic center like BP or Wilmer in terms of surgical experience. To find out specific numbers, you'll have to talk to former fellows at meetings, etc. Most of them get prestigious private practice jobs and hold leadership positions in ASCRS and AAO. I haven't applied for fellowship yet, but some of my senior residents have interviewed here. Their program description/email should be on SF match.

I think most programs beat Wilmer in regards to surgical experience. But I hear you get really good at reading journal articles

Is it the same fellowship as the "mini fellowships" that are listed on the website? or is it different on SF match?

I think the mini fellowships are different. They seem directed towards a different audience. But someone else can confirm lol
