Vanderbilt Orthodontics Residency 2018

I have heard that the Vanderbilt Orthodontics residency might be re-opening for applications this coming cycle but there is still no website or anything posted about it. Does anything know anything about this? Also I know they had an issue in the past that the ortho program was run through the oral surgery program so the training might not have been up to par. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Do you by any chance know why it closed in the first place? It was one of the few hospital based (aka salary) programs in the country along with Mayo and Washington Hospital...

From what I have heard (which is all word of mouth) all the issues with it were associated with it being run through the OMFS program. But if someone had more information I would love to hear it
