Has anyone who applied to the Vandy SRTP for diabetes research (for the summer) heard back yet? We were expecting a response by last Friday but have yet to hear.

Shortly after posting this thread I got the "Unfortunately your application was not accepted..." e-mail. Oh well. Maybe someone will withdraw.

I was offered a position on 03/21 and given until 03/26 to confirm that I will be coming. I accepted on 03/25 but since then I haven't heard back from them. I don't know what's going on...maybe I should give them a call.

If you don't mind me asking, is there a reason why you withdrew? I hope it's not due to anything bad about the program.

When you call them... tell them that you know this great guy Kris who applied and that they should definitely let him in.

I also was accepted and withdrew. Is Vanderbilt a ivy league school or something? I rejected them bcuz I am going to Spain for summer research which is really nice, by the way. Vandy was my second option.
