I was wondering whether anyone knew if we could submit our Vandy supplement on the day of our interview but after the actual interview itself. I am planning on finishing the autobiography in my hotel room the afternoon before, but I don't think I will have access to the internet to upload the essay. So, I want to wait until I get back home that evening to just electronically submit it. Has anyone had experience with this? Are they really strict on the due date? I don't want to seem irresponsible but their application is so long, and I haven't had that much time with finals going on. Thanks for your help!

I submitted mine on the day of the interview. You can call and ask, the people are very nice at Vanderbilt, they will probably work with you. But I would say just finish it and give it to them in person.

hi, I actually finished my vandy secondary at the Admissions office. They basically have you doing nothing during the interview day so I just sat in the office b/4 and after my interview and typed the essay on my labtop and turned it in b/4 I left and printed out the certification form at the Admissions office. You may not want to do what I did though. Also, there was another guy that hadn't even started his secondary, and was gonna start it after the interview. be forwarned doing that may reflect bad on you

Nashville has a Kinkos that charges aound 12 dollars an hour for computer use and is about a block from the medical school. I think it's a good idea to submit before the interview so that's one less thing to worry about and you come off as having a sincere interest in the school. Just print out the certification form and turn it in the day of the interview. Most hotels in the area have a complimentary shuttle service and will take you to Kinkos and back no problem.

The best idea is to go on campus and use their computers. There was this one hall i found that had a computer lab with free printing and anyone could log-on and use the comp. It stay open pretty late too which is nice. Ill take a look at my map later and tell you which building that is but comming from a public state univ i felt so pampered using their laser printers for free!

You can go into the Eskind (biomed) Library, just north of Light Hall and sign in as an interviewee and you can use their computers (no Microsoft Word, though) to print or use the internet.

Thanks for all your help guys! I actually went to my interview, did the secondary in my hotel room the night before and submitted it through the hotel's wireless internet connection. i printed out the form and the picture in the admissions office. thanks for helping!!
