Vanderbuilt - Meharry Rotations????

Hey Meharry Students or someone who knows something about this- Vanderbuilt students????.

In the Vanderbuilt-Meharry Alliance, are there any 3rd year rotations that can be done at Vanderbuilt Univ Hospital?

How hard is it to do some of the 4th year core rotations out of state? To audition say a CORE internal medicine, phych or surg rotation out of state?

Also what resorces do you access to a Vanderbuilt? I heard you get access to some Vanderbuilt resources. Thanks

I'm not a Meharry student, but I did a surgery sub I at Vandy. There were Meharry students doing the core surgery clerkship. They were given the same temporary ID I was with nearly full access to all Vandy facilities...including a totally awesome library. THe ID doesn't automatically give you access to the school building after hours, but all you had to do was go ask, and they would add that.

I don't know how hard it is for a Meharry student to do a rotation at Vandy, though.

Yes Meharry students can do some of their rotations at Vandy. I had a few Meharry students on some of my rotations. One thing, Vanderbilt doesn't have a "u" in it.
