Just a semantic type question- would you consider someone with multiple deficits in neurologic function after a major event of amniotic embolism/DIC as having vascular dementia? Or would you refer to it as anoxic brain injury? Neither/both? Pt was basically normal at baseline before the event.

Anoxic brain injury - there's a known etiololgy of the impairment.
