Hey Everyone,

Haven't posted in a very long time, but getting ready to apply for vascular neurology fellowships.

As I'm filling out the ERAS CV, I'm wondering whether people have included things from medical school (i.e. president of SIGN, research, volunteer etc.) or only included things during residency. Any insight would be appreciated!

I included some things. I spoke with one of my new stroke attendings who just completed fellowship. She advised including things that are relevant and tell them a little more about who you are. Research, publications, and presentations should also be included. If you did some weird bench research for a couple months in the summer in college or something and you're not interested in bench research you can probably take that out though because it's not as relevant.

Anybody applying for stroke fellowship started hearing back for interviews yet? I don't know what timeline to expect which just contributes to already-high levels of anxiety 😅

How many programs did you end up applying to?

I applied to 19 and then panic applied to 4 more haha probably more than necessary but rather safe than sorry
Haha I actually ended up doing the same. When are we supposed to start getting interview invites? Almost dead silence here!

I'm not sure! I've heard that the timeline varies - I have a friend who is currently a stroke fellow and she got most of her invites in December, but her friend a year ahead of her got most of hers in January.🤷‍♀️ I've gotten a couple but radio silence from a good number of places where I applied!
