I have a question here on VCOM-Auburn

Is VCOM part of Auburn University? Or is it just In the city auburn. Reason why I ask is I’m not sure if it’s like a play on words.

If you attend VCOM auburn are you allowed to say I attend Auburn University medical school....?

I just want some clarification

I’m really confused on the affiliation VCOM has with auburn. I recently had an interview with them and they didn’t provide me with an answer. They kinda danced around it. The students have Auburn University privlages to make it more complicated lol. They also wear Auburn University gear so I’m confused

It's only an "affiliation" where VCOM pays Auburn money and Auburn lets them use a building and the student facilities. VCOM is not really affiliated with Auburn at all.

People around Alabama seem to think auburn has a medical schoo too. So you aren’t alone.

Same think in Indiana, where IU has a branch campus at ND. The two are not affiliated. IU is a tenant.

We are not Auburn grad students. We get access to Auburn facilities like the gym. Auburn has built their nursing school and pharmacy research building next to our school and seem to want the affiliation to be strong. Our professors (esp our PhDs) do a lot of research with the university and their departments. A lot of Auburn students end up going to VCOM-Auburn. As of now, it is a mutually beneficial agreement. I hope the affiliation remains strong, but VCOM doesn't have a stellar history with that.

There are no residencies in Auburn. What do you mean by this?
