Perhaps you view enthusiasm as being a know-it-all. I am indeed enthusiastic about going to medical school and about going to VCOM. It has been a long hard road to get me to where I am today. I was accepted elsewhere, both DO and MD, but VCOM caught my eyes and won my heart.

Have I lead the posts for the class of 2008, probably. I was interviewed on the first day (sept 16th) and found out among the first acceptances so that is one of the reasons I was the first one that started the class of 2008 threads. I also receive truckloads of PMs asking tons of questions about VCOM and Blacksburg, so of course I am going to answer those PMs and any questions here on SDN. I always check the handbook and have in fact emailed MSIs and Megan about things that I don't know.

I have been on SDN for a long time and have always been quite vocal when it comes to helping people out. If people find that annoying, well, sorry for them. They don't have to read my posts. I know a bunch of VCOMers and none of them have said I have a bad name amoungst them.

You are reaching me on a bad day. So don't take too seriously what I may say either.

I am also laid back and easy going but we all have our buttons that can be pushed..........

Alright Amy B, you obviously take this post a lot more seriously than I do. Again, I apologize for sounding so harsh. As someone else said, we are a relatively laid back group and can rag a little bit on each other. Just realize that most everything is said light heartedly. Well, didn't mean to push your buttons so much. Glad you're excited about VCOM.
