Hi,

So how did the recent VCOM interviews go?

Just curious... when did they tell you that you would find out about their decision?

I sure hope it's going to be sooner than then the up to one month time frame they gave us last week. I just can't stand waiting. I want to move to Blacksburg NOW!!!!

VCOM rocks. It remains my first choice!!!

I know some people interviewed yesterday and today. How did it go?

Ok, what I am really wanting to know was the time period they gave to you that they would be letting you know. Is it still a month?

The waiting is eating me alive. It has only been 7 days and counting, but it has tied me in knots. the stupid hurricane and the 5 inches of rain we got last night couldn't even take my mind off of the waiting. Sigh

Hi Amy,

Interviews went well - at least I think they did. I think VCOM is a great school, in a great town. I too am ready to move!

I think I recall hearing that the committee will review all the applicants upto that point in two weeks. That would be around 30 folks. I would guess that we could hear from them anytime after that.

Love to hear more of your thoughts on the school and the area.

Hi Amy B,

The interview went well and as Bacmedic said, and we should all expect to hear something within 3 weeks time. It's a great place and I'm really impressed with their facilities.

Bacmedic,

Hope your trip back home was not too stressful. I made mine in 7 hours.

At any rate, lets focus other upcoming interviews and just hope for the best.

Hi Dokita,

I was nice meeting you. My drive was a bit over 10 hours. However, right at the end, after driving through all those states, after all those miles, after all those hours - merging onto my last highway and only an hour from home, I got in an accident. No one got hurt but there is damage to the car.

Hi Bacmedic,

I'm sorry to hear about that, but it's good that nobody is hurt. I think that's one of the risk of driving. Anyway, I'm glad you are okay.

I just received word from Megan Settle that I have been offered an interview at VCOM in the coming weeks!!!

I would love feedback from any and all of you who have spent time their in the past few months. (Amy B, I pm'd you with a ton of questions already 🙂)

Good luck to everyone with their application travails.

Good luck all. I hope I have some SDN classmates joining my VCOM class 2008 thead (in the Osteopathic forum) really soon.

Be yourself and relax. The whole day is really stress free.
