I live right across the street in the Crossing. Many students live there or at the main Knollwood apartments, but a lot of students also live in Christainsburg (which tends to be cheaper).
Avoid anywhere that does not have "graduate and professional living." That is the term they use to mean "no undergrads" in this area; if you live near the undergrads, be prepared for very loud neighbors.
From what I've seen, Knollwood is pretty expensive and the staff is terrible. Are there any specific places that people would recommend - at a reasonable price, without noise.
