hey there. Well, that's a new one, I don't think anyone's gotten this message and posted about it recently (VCU is known for having strange, verbose status notifications that perplex SDN'ers). It doesn't sound good, that's true, but I wouldn't give up hope. VCU definitely wouldn't lie--they will reevaluate your application and it is possible that you will get an interview. You were probably right on their cusp when you were initially evaluated.

i just got the "due to high # of apps, candidates at your priority score may not be interviewed...we'll keep you posted" message. yours sounds a little more promising than mine. my message puts me squarely on the backburner. but it sounds like they have some specific things that they're unsure about concerning your application, which is interesting.

I got the same message last year and got an interview invite a couple days later. So relax, chances are good they'll interview you.

Yeah..i'd agree too....I know a friend who got an interview invite (out of state) about a week after that message. I'd say of the two...yours looks more promising

Unfortunately, the committee indicates interest in far more candidates than we are able to interview. Since we are dependent on the Committee member's schedules for interview spaces, we are unable to predict when or if we will be able to schedule you this year. Please continue to check this site to learn when further action has been taken.

That's the message I'm referring to. It means that really like you but they're really taking their time to fit you in. There may be other students with your stats who are in state that they're interviewing before you. This is just a hypothetical but i'd just say hang tight. You're not out of the running yet.

I received the same message early this month, but haven't received an invite yet. I was told from a fellow SDNer that they recieved the same message and was later invited for a interview though. I will be waiting patiently

I got that message today about there being more people with my priority score than they can interview...so, I guess that means they probably won't interview me? My application has been complete since 11/3 (I was an Aug MCATer).

File Complete 9/9/2004, but was on hold for August scores.

I got this same message today. I haven't seen this one before. I've been complete since 10/18. Do you know what this means in terms of where we are in priority?
