For those that didn't match, VCU Health has 1 spot left in their ID Fellowship program. Forwarding this message from the PD:

The Infectious Diseases Division at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia has an opening for a first-year ID Fellow to start July 2024.

The ID Fellowship Program at VCU offers excellent clinical training in the field of infectious diseases. Our fellows encounter a vast spectrum of illness at VCU Health and the Central Virginia Veterans Administration Healthcare System during their two-year fellowship. Upon completion of training, our fellows are competent in evaluating and caring for complex patients with a wide variety of infectious diseases and related conditions. Outstanding research opportunities are available in the fields of Orthopedic ID, Transplant ID, clinical microbiology, antimicrobial stewardship, HIV, hospital epidemiology and infection control. Each year, we offer a third year of dedicated research training to one fellow who wishes to pursue research in Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control while obtaining a Masters in Public Health degree. The training program is fully ACGME accredited.
