What were some of the essay topics on your interview day?

Also, I was told that I would be receiving a supplemental app. before my interview date, does anyone know what the supplemental consists of?

In 1500 words or more, what is the average air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?


supplemental app is really nothing than a few legal forms and an easy question or two.

The essay topic is an ethics question... or it was in 2006 when I had mine. You won't know what yours is until you sit down to write it, but mine was something like this:

Looking through medical records at the dentist office where you work, you find your best friend's file and read that she is pregnant, but hasn't told you. What do you do?

The supplemental stuff is pretty general but you can go into more of your activities, experiences etc.

October 2007 interview.
While working as a dental assistant you notice on your friend's file that he has left off some of the medications he is taking. Your friend is minutes away from having dental work done. What do you do?

As much time as you need. They give you 1 page, and tell you that if you need to, you can write on the back. It took about 20 minutes for all of the people in my interview group to finish.

hey did you get the supplemental through the mail or via email?? I called this past monday and she said I should complete the supp. app and bring it with me to the interview, however, I haven't received any info. I will definately call the school tomorrow though.

Oct 2005 was something about cheating - i think it said you had a take-home test and it was supposed to be done independently but your friend wanted your help on it... what would you do?
