I just finished my 1st interview at VCU and it was awesome. The interviewer was very nice and it was more like a conversation than an interview. Not at all stressful.

The questions were all very personal and right out of my file. It was easy to answer every one that way and all of my responses were straight from the heart.

If anyone has questions, I'd love to help you out, but seriously, the day was great and very relaxed!

Good luck!

Nice to hear that. I have to call them again about my references that never seem to appear.

That's great!!! How many VCU interviews did you have? With faculty or student(s)? Did they tell you the timeframe as to when you would hear a decision? Are you OOS or IS? Did they tell you the percentages of each they accept from those they interview?

Sorry for all the questions....

Ok...
One interviewer, faculty member, one hour long
The first round of acceptances goes out oct. 15
I'm OOS
I don't know percentages, but the lady kept telling me that she felt I had a great chance, and she would present me well to the adcom....woo hoo!

congrats Booswim! My turn is wednesday. I'm staying with a MS2 student Tuesday night, since it's a 4 hour drive from home. He told me that it was very low stress and not to worry. Any hints about what I may need to take with me? (I have a copy of AMCAS, VCU Secondary, and a pad of paper.) I don't guess I will need much more than that.

They started interviewing already? Damn.
