i had one a couple of weeks ago. Overall, it was a good experience. I actually enjoyed it. One interview was a little more structured and stressful than the other, but even so, it wasnt bad. Both interviewers just wanted to get to know me better. They read over my file and asked me questions about it. Everyone is very nice and personable. Ms. Sharon Peple is very nice and helpful. The financial aid schpeel is boring. they have you write an essay on a potentially problematic situation dealing with ethics. There is no right or wrong answer, they just want a response that shows common sense. Its not that hard, and it's only a paragraph or two. Lunch with the 4th year students was great. The student i went with was awesome. Very enthusiastic and friendly. After my interview, my opinion of VCU changed, i think its a very good school that doesnt get a lot of credit. I stayed with a first year that loves it there too. Also, you get to do dental assisting for a junior for 1.5 hours which is sweet, and they let us drill a tooth on the dentsim deals. and we got to take home the tooth we drilled! kind of gimmicky, but very fun and cool, especially for an interview. Richmond is beautiful if you stay in the right places. Good luck and have fun. Don't stress it too much, they just want to get to know you.
