I didnt get a VCU interview, but I noticed on predents.com that some had. How were you notified?

Nope, I've read that a lot of schools don't update your AADSAS.

I guess they're conducting interviews early this year. When did you guys apply? I'm applying next year, but I'm planning my application now so I can submit it as early as possible and score an early interview.

I got my DAT scores and application fee in on the 8th of August. I received my interview invite on the 21st.

My application was complete at VCU around the middle to end of July.

No offense to you, VCU, or anyone, but how come your super excited about VCU?

why shouldn't i be? I'm excited about all my interviews, but last year I didn't get one from vcu, and it's nice to finally get the chance. Plus, most of my family lives in VA and I'll get to visit with them.

no, no... you definitely SHOULD be... I just thought there was something about VCU that I didn't know about... but then again your fam is there so that makes things a lot easier.

What did you do differently this year in order to get an interview? Was your GPA or DAT score low last year or you didn't have sufficient extracurricular activities? I checked on predents and your GPA and DAT scores look great. May I ask what you used to study for QR or your strategies during the time crunch or you didn't study at all and just happen to be a math whiz...

pretty much the only thing i did differently this year was apply early. Last year i didn't apply until late august, which was too late for all but one of my schools.

as far as my QR score, i've always been pretty good at math, and I was working as a math tutor the summer i took the DAT, so the stuff was pretty fresh.
