VCU or UTHSCSA or UMDNJ

Please help me regarding VCU/ UTHSCSA/ UMDNJ to compare these schools and which suits the best for a person like me who just wants to practice as a General Dentist.

VCU and UTHSCSA follow exactly the same curriculum but VCU has edge over Uthscsa since VCU is far more technically advanced, preclinical program is just not half online based (as in case of UTHSCSA), Its on dentsim as you already know. So you get more hands on time in VCU if you want to be a general dentist ...Also VCU has a strong encouragement for students who want to try research.. Alongwith many Communty projects, mission of mercy projects, outreach programs are abundant in VCU.... UTHSCSA has one big advantage over VCU and UMDNJ is fee, is lesser but then its in total south.. UMDNJ is just a big pool of patients but newark is definitely a not to go place type in US. Also i have been to UTHSCA last year and I hear not so good things about the faculty, they more of weird but no opinion, you may check some old UTHSCSA threads regarding it.
I would say (UTHSCSA=VCU) > UMDNJ

Thanks fairy !! Even i was most impressed by VCU out of the 3. Only thing that keeps me concerned is what should I choose over, money advantage or technology quality. VCU is a mixed reflection of UTHSCSA and UMN. I would need to decide soon.

congrats googlefreak....those are really close choices...all are good but if u want to be general dentist go for school that have max patient pool( in my opinion). If you compare VCU,UTHSC,UMNJ....then VCU and UTHSC have both smaller size IDP program, but if you have to select more patient pool then UTHSC and UMNJ are good choices. No offence to anyone but newark and richmond are both on list of 25 most dangerous cities to live in US and Richmond rank 15th and newark 22nd http://www.morganquitno.com/cit07pop.htm. Community outreach programs are in all three schools...but its entirely ur prefrence whether you go for cheapest, nearest, max patient pool etc
