The honest answer: I do not think you will have time to study for your DAT. The program is heavily based in biochemistry and microbiology along with carving, dental anatomy, and learning instruments. The DAT prep session is very helpful, but you will be so busy studying for your classes, doing projects, and writing papers that you probably will not have a lot of time to dedicate to studying for the DAT.
I will say the program is an excellent program to attend and I would do it again if i had the chance. The experience is irreplaceable and the knowledge you gain about entering dental school is very excellent. Plus, you get the chance to become acquainted with the dean of admissions. I cannot think of a better way to start the application cycle.. 👍
