Ventana Recall

Anyone dealing with the FDA-mandated Ventana recall yet? Apparently the dispensers on several of their antibodies were not working correctly, resulting in possible false negatives. We are going through lists of old cases, looking for negative results that have to be restained. These involve some very common stains, like H. pylori, AE1/AE3, CD3, and cdx-2.

Don't have a link. Ventana contacted us. Apparently Mayo had to deal with this earlier in the year (I got a letter from them, warning us that some of our consultations could have been affected.).
