I have noticed, as others have also mentioned, that everyone seems a little tense. People are snapping, accusing, and name calling a lot more than giving their opinion in a civil manner. A lot of people, including myself, have used the sarcasm a little more than necessary and it just leads to this weird feeling of ill will and lack of respect amongst all the regulars and even newer members. Anyway, I created this thread to help clean up the rest of the discussions that are going on and hopefully get everyone back to the "helping out" mode. Use this thread to swear, vent, call names, or just scream. People can read it if they want or not read it if they don't want. It will save all the people just looking for information the trouble of sifting through all the foul language etc. and no one will have to feel bad about it.

yeah, i have noticed it as well, which is why i try to stay out of it 😉

i feel like even when i post something i feel it totally innocuous, i will get someone jumping all over me for the most absurd reasons. i understand that people are stressed (i am as well), but some people seem to be projecting their stress over the admission's process and school onto people here on the boards, which i do not have the energy to deal with right now.

i wish people would just take a breath and think about what they are going to post BEFORE posting. 🙂

I was just making fun of a Filipino guy who went around saying F U without knowing what he was saying. I didn't know he was Filipino at the time. Just that he had terrible English and said I should go to garbage-collecting school.

It's kinda like... how a foreign student comes and doesn't know a lick of English and people teach him to go up to girls and say, "pleese suck ma peenis"
